Kuwait Wayanad Association (KWA) Held a Family Picnic

"VAYAL NADIN SANGAMAM2016" on 28 and 29 April 2016 at a beautiful and greenish resort spot in Kabd in which a large number of members belonging to different places of Wayanad District participated with their families. KWA gaurdian Sri. Babuji Bathery inaugurated the Picnic by handing over the flag to Arts and Sports Conveners Sri. Jijil and Jestine respectively, exhorting the participants to use the occasion of the Picnic to spread the fragrance of love and friendship among the Association members and as a symbolic act to convey this message, spread flowers high in the air.
Picnic Began at 6 PM on 28th April. The arrangements and activities of the Family Picnic were organized and controlled by Event Manager & KWA Treasurer Aby Paul, and

Executive Committee Members and Zonal Coordiators have contributed significantly for the successful event. The Games and cultural programs were orchestrated collectlively by Arts and Sports Conveners Sri. Jijil and Jestine respectively. Shinu Matathil and Sri Saidalavi was highy appreciated on their efforts on commuting transport from remote areas to picnic place. Prizes were distributed to the winners of the games by the Office Bearers. A special family class was conducted by the KWA guardian Sri Babuji made the event more delighted within family members .
The Picnic was an enjoyable and memorable experience for all who participated. It was also notable for the excellent bonhomie among the members and the active participation of all including women and children in the games and programs of the Picnic. Camp fire and barbeque through out the night was another attractive activity by organising team, especially the commitment of Mr. Biju on making barbeque was highly recognised.
A funny auction of remaining food/stationary items was another rare and suspense for all participants.
Secretary and President of KWA, on behalf of the executive committee conveyed regards to all joined on this picnic and ensured that KWA is committed to continue such events for building solid relation between the society members and also requested the same support of entire KWA members for successful completion of all social and cultural activities planned by KWA for the year 2016-17.
Vote of thanks was given by Treasurer Aby Paul. The Picnic ended at 5 pm on 29th April.
