NAFO presents peppy music show “Amrutham Gamaya”

NAFO KUWAIT is set to celebrate Onam and 13th Anniversary on Friday, 23rd September 2016, at the Indian Community School (Senior), Salmiya, from 09.30 am onwards. His Excellency, the Indian Ambassador, Shri. Sunil Jain, and Honb’le Shri. K. Vijayakumar I.P.S. (Senior Advisor Govt. of India) has consented to be the chief guests on this happy occasion. Distinguished guests from among all sections of Indian community will also grace the event with their benevolent presence.

This year’s celebration will be unique with a rare treat for music connoisseurs. After Thaikoodam Bridge NAFO introduces Kerala’s sensational music band “Amrutham Gamaya led by popular singers Amritha and Abhirami duo sisters glittering in Mollywood and Tollywood film/television industry.



Capturing the audience of all ages and classes “Amrutham Gamaya” – the sovereign sound of independent music is breaking conventions evoking nostalgia with their exclusive re-mix compositions of Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and Arabic songs.

This year, the festivities are arranged as morning and evening sessions and will respectively commence at 09:30am and 05; 30 pm. The morning session shall comprise with variety art and cultural stage events by talented men, women and children of NAFO family, which will conclude at 01:30 pm with a grand traditional Onasadya. Kearlite Symphony-Panchavadya melam by Cherthala Sreenath and Party, Classical and Folk dances, Thiruvathirakali, Fusion Dance, Thematic Group Dances, Solo Songs, and a Skit by the NAFO Gurukulam students will be true highlights of morning session celebrations. Evening session will start at 05:30 pm with brief inaugural meeting followed with the musical gig “AMRUTHAM GAMAYA”.



All NAFO members and well-wishers along with their families are cordially invited to gather on this auspicious occasion as a single family in order to celebrate our dear traditional "Ponnonam" and the 13th NAFO anniversary.

Latest program flyer was officially released on Sept. 12th in a joint meeting of NAFO officials and fraternity members. The Program committee has informed that NAFO members may kindly collect their Onasadya coupons and Invitations to musical show by contacting any of the program committee members so as to facilitate smooth distribution, and urged the members to kindly extend their sincere support and active participation.



Through collective hard work by numerous dedicated individuals, and by successfully sponsoring and coordinating several recent mega programs and welfare schemes, NAFO has now proven itself to be one of the leading, sincere, prestigious and honored associations in Kuwait. These accomplishments inspire the association to further strengthen and accelerate its socio-cultural services pivoted on the motto “Help us to help the helpless”.

Requiring elaborate arrangements for the program, and expecting a large crowd, an Organizing Committee was formed to oversee the preparations.
