Authorities suspended registration of absconding cases by sponsors against domestic workers

The Domestic Workers Department has suspended the registration of absconding cases filed by sponsors against domestic workers through the service centers, reports local Arabic news paper Al-Seyassah daily.
According to report, the Domestic Workers Department will first verify if the sponsors paid all dues to the workers before registering the case. The department also record information of a worker who files a complaint, daily added.
