Arpan Kuwait conducted an economic seminar on your money, your savings at ICSK Auditorium, Salmiya on 17th Friday 6.00pm.

President KP Suresh presided the meeting. General Secretary Rafi Padiyath welcomed the audience and speakers. Indian Embassy Commercial attaché Mr. B S Bisht lightened the lamp along with Advisory chairman Mr. PA Menon and inaugurated the seminar. Ambassador of India Mr. Sunil Jain in a message through Mr. B.S. Bisht said: Arpan’s effort to educate and give practical directions to people for better living in current scenario is valuable and commendable.

Mr.KP Suresh said Arpan is trying to bring out the experts in Kuwait for sharing their knowledge for the benefit of common man in an effort to educate the expatriate Indians to understand the money saving and investing methods in view of the current demonetization and recent union budget. He affirmed that such community welfare free seminars will be conducted by Arpan in coming months in such important subjects with expert teams to help Indians to improve their life with children in education, better finance management, healthy living, safety etc.
Vice president Mr. Mahadevan controlled the Seminar. Mr. Subbaraman Krishnan presented the highlights of Budget 2017 in 1st session. 2nd session was about the investment opportunities. Mr. Sanoop Unni described about the points of depositing in bank and in fixed investments. Mr. Devesh Kumar described about the possibilities in investing insurances. Mr. Praveen Kumar gave ideas about investing in stock market. Mr. Rajeev Sakhuja described about investing in real estate. Third session was handled by Mr. Krishna Nagaraj about Common Mistake people make in Investing.

A question and answer session was provided which gave the audience to participate to enhance and update latest trends in the fields of taxation as well as other new investment opportunities in India.

Presenters were given away mementos as token of appreciation from Arpan. Treasurer SP Ganesh gave the vote of thanks.
