IEI Kuwait Chapter delegates meets Kuwaiti counterpart

Delegates from The Institution of Engineers (India), Kuwait Chapter met Engr. Faisal D Alajmi, President of Kuwait Society of Engineers on 7th March 2017. Engr. Fahad Al Otaibi, General Secretary, Engr. Ali Al Failkawi, Treasurer, Engr. Mohammad Al Dehani Board members along with other senior officials from KSE attended this meeting. Meeting was held at the KSE Headquarter in Bneid AlGar.




Delegation from IEI Kuwait Chapter consisted of Dr. Rumane Adbul Razzak, Chairman, Engr. Rishabh Nath Jain, General Secretary, Engr. Sam Ananth Kumar, Treasurer, Engr. Zaidi, Ex-Chairman, Engr. M Karthikeyan, Engr. Thomas and Mr. Ramesh.




IEI delegates congratulated the newly elected Board members of Kuwait Society of Engineers and appreciated the support of KSE to Indian engineers. Engr. Faisal welcomed the delegates and admired the role of Indian Engineers in many development projects in Kuwait. Dr. Rumane briefed about the functioning of IEI and its various overseas chapters. He also discussed the cooperation agreement between the two professional bodies. Engr. Rishabh briefed about the different grades of membership available through IEI and procedures followed.




Various issues concerning Indian engineers working in Kuwait were discussed. Cooperation between the two professional bodies was highlighted and it was agreed to conduct joint technical seminars for the benefit of both Indian and Kuwaiti Engineers. Indian delegation was invited to attend the very first diwaniya meeting of the newly elected board. This landmark meeting marked another chapter in the cooperation and friendship of the two professional bodies.
