‘Sarrayat’ season begins mid-April - Astronomer

Kuwait is currently going through a seasonal transitional period known as the ‘Al-Sabq’ season especially during the coming days till the beginning of April, Astronomer Khaled Abdullah AlJamaan said.
This period usually takes place before the annual weather phenomena of Al-Sarrayat starting by mid-April. This period is characterized by rain that can sometimes be accompanied by dust, lightning and even hail.
Jamaan explained that night and day hours would become equal on March 16 (equinox) before the daylight hours will start to get longer.
