SIS Organized cluster of orientation programs for parents

Reaffirming our concept of providing quality education, within the landscape of cultural and socio-economic diversity from which children enter the portals of the school, Smart Indian School organized orientation programs for the parents of new entrants from 26 to 30 March 2017.The orientations were addressed by the Principal while the Vice principal in her address welcomed the gathering. The power point presentation enabled the parents become aware of the changing scenario in education, the new evaluation pattern, the culture and working of the school. Mr.Mahesh Iyer also emphasized on the pivotal role played by parents in the upbringing of children and in helping them tide over the cares and concerns related to childhood.

KG Supervisor Ms.Rajni Menon provided the parents with an insight on school curriculum. In all interactive sessions the Principal answered the queries of the parents who were later applauded for their committed involvement. Bhavan believes that parents are the most gifted, promising, harmonious and the healthiest members in the society. Bharathiya Vidya Bhavan – the real epitome of ideal education salutes those parents who attended the orientations and who understood the teaching learning methodology implemented in the school. Apart from the teaching process, the programme also included the details of school rules and regulations, activities to affirm inclusive education and the state of the art school’s facilities and introduction of teachers who will be mentoring their wards, the extra and co-curricular activities and the support required from the parents.
