ICSK Class 10th Inaugural function

A successful first day can be a key component of a successful academic year. The regular classes for the class 10th students have been kicked off officially at the Indian Community School, Kuwait on 19th March, 2017.The school conducted a special session for the students who were promoted to class 10th in order to guide them academically since CBSE introduced Class X compulsory board exam which will eliminate CCE system in CBSE schools beginning from the 2017-18 academic year.

Mr. Joel Dsouza ,the academic supervisor ( Secondary) , welcomed the students and faculties. Dr. Sam. T. Kuruvilla , the Vice Principal, announced the names of Class teachers and subject teachers of 10th Standard 2017 – 2018 session. He also distributed personal logs to the subject teachers. Class teachers and subject teachers introduced themselves to the new students. It was an opportunity for the students to establish expectations, set the tone and to get to know their teachers.

Dr. V. Binumon, the principal ICSK (Senior) distributed the attendance register to the class teachers. He emphasized in his speech that the primary objective of ICSK is to provide educational resources for a safe, challenging, tolerant, and supportive environment in which students are actively encouraged to participate. He also advised the educators to have a buoyant vision to part take the formation of students dynamically. Finally, the students marched to respective class rooms with new hope and expectations along with their class teachers.
