‘Adventures are the best way to learn’. Indeed! This quote is very true and the best way to get the rush of adrenaline and excitement is to travel. What better time of the year can it be to explore new places, indulge in interesting activities and travel around? Three months of holiday is the most pertinent time to visit our motherland or step into a foreign land. A little tip to follow while travelling: travel light, pack beforehand and…don’t forget your documents and passports.

Exploring new places can never be boring as there is always something new to see or do. If you are visiting a new place, carry with you a pamphlet guiding you throughout the area. Nowadays instead of using maps we have a GPS installed in each and every phone. On that note, refrain from constantly engaging with social media. Instead of posing for selfies, take time to discover a little more about the place and area. Rather than visiting extravagant shopping complexes and concrete jungles, try out unique activities.
Pay a visit to archaic monuments; learn about the history and grandeur of the place through various museums, visit popular touristic sites and stay away from the typical life by visiting the countryside. The serenity of the countryside, open meadows and fields, warmth of the farmers and village folk, unending chatter of children gives you a portal to life in the village.

Exciting places to suit ones interest lies within our reach but it’s important to immerse ourselves in that culture- be it learning the language or trying its delicacies. Want to experience how movies are made? Visit the ‘Universal studios’ in Singapore or US, Want to see a place where dreams come true visit? “Disneyland” is present in many countries around the world, Want to see what real snow feels like? Visit Nepal or Ladakh.

Now if you are an absolute music fanatic, then the museum of music in Vienna is the “It” place for you. Another tip- try exploring the country using cable cars, skyline ride, luge, hot air balloons, trams or canoes. The adrenaline rush is just so worth it. Remember the saying “The world is a book and those who do not travel read only one page”

I have started a few places, but you have the whole world to explore. I hope these guidelines will help you. After all the best stories are written between the pages of a passport.
