1,500 suffer from Parkinson’s in Kuwait

Some 1,500 people suffer from Parkinson’s disease in Kuwait, says Dr Jassem Al-Hashel, neurologist at Ibn Sina Hospital. In a statement on the occasion of the World Parkinson’s Disease Day, Dr Hashel indicated that his department has contributed to cutting number of patients who seek treatment abroad. The department staff have succeeded in programming and changing many simulation batteries for patients, without any foreign aid, he said.
