Bhavans Kuwait Observed Bhim Jayanti

Indian Educational School, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Kuwait celebrated Ambedkar Jayanti or Bhim Jayanti on April 13 marking the 125th birth anniversary of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar - the Father of the Constitution of India.



The celebrations kicked off with a special morning assembly where T. Premkumar the Principal IES Kuwait, Mr. Suresh.V. Balakrishnan, Vice Principal, Middle and Senior Wings, Ms. Meenakshi Nayyar, Vice Principal, Co-curricular Activities, and Mr. Binoy Mathew, the Head of the Department, Social Science graced the auspicious day with their presence as guests of honor. Master Arjun Trikha, a 7th grader gave an insightful speech about the life and accomplishments of Dr. B.R.Ambedkar.

Students of each section drafted their classroom constitution which was an experience of uniqueness and pleasure for them. They appreciated the efforts put by our leaders who drafted the Constitution of India. They promised to abide by their respective classroom constitution to create an effective, productive and fun-filled learning atmosphere. The ceremony was concluded by paying respect to the motherland through the rendition of the Indian National Anthem.
