It was an exciting experience to perform live in Kuwait, said Badshah, the King of Rap. He was talking to media after the successful event of his first ever live performance in Kuwait at Al Shaheed Park, Kuwait City. "It was nice to see that people in Kuwait are enjoying my song," he said. "I think the market is evolving in Kuwait and such events are motivating the artists to keep going as well as the organisers"," he said. The King of Rap Badshah, who has given us chartbusters like 'Kala Chashma' and 'The Humma Song', was in Kuwait as part of his live performance organised by Indian Youth Society IYS. IYS President Mr Shabeer Qamar and Imran Hyder of Saaz Events were also present with Badshah during the press briefing.

More than 2000 crowd attends his first ever performance in Kuwait at Al Shaheed Park open Air theatre in Kuwait city. "More than our hard work and the support from sponsors, it is the huge fan following such great artists like Badshah is the one which is pushing us to organise such shows in Kuwait", said Mr Shabeer Qamar, president of Indian youth Society.

"Ironically, there is no institute which teaches us how to do rap. We have to naturally polish our skill," Badshah, who never had any professional training in singing, said. Internet is a good medium for learning. "Most part of my learning was from YouTube and other social Media", a civil engineer by career, Badshah said. "As long as things are moving fine, I don’t mind to continuing in this field," he said. In YouTube you can directly get the feedback from your audience, which is the best learning experience, he said. At the end of the day, it is our individual skill, which we need to polish and train. Irrespective of the language, new generation are more welcoming the rap and other forms of music, he said. I had already made my presence in Punjabi, Bengali and Gujarati and is looking to do my performance in other Indian languages too, he said.

After conquering the world of Punjabi music, Badshah is now ruling Bollywood with his new-age tunes. His popular songs include 'The breakup song', 'Kar gayi chull' and 'Abhi toh party shuru hui hai' among others. Among my songs, my favourite is 'Ladki Beautiful Kar Gayi Chul', he said as a reply to a question about his favourite song. "Among others Arijit Singh is my favourite, " he said.

It’s a natural trend that everything will go as a sine-wave. People will come and go... But one thing we have to make sure that we are giving our 100% to the people, Badshah said while talking about the seasonal lime light artists are getting. "Tomorrow people may get bored of a singer or the singer may lose focus, but we have to do hundred percentage justices to what we are doing. Rest is all in the hands of the god, he said.

Everything got its own fashion time to time and the same thing happens in song also, Badshah said while talking to the recent trend of re-making of old songs in Bollywood. Re-making a song is not an easy job. We have to play around the emotion of the original song. You have to bring out the same thing in a different way. But at the same time, an artist should work on bringing some original work to the table, he added.

"My Message to the youth is to stay away from drugs and respect your parents". When we were kids, we were guided properly not to use drugs and such things. In my place, along with my friends, whom I don’t want to name now, are adopting a village and detoxing the whole village to stop the menace of drugs. Our aim is to make it a global village by detoxing the whole village and we also planned to adopt around 26 other villages in the coming years, Badshah said.

"I want to spend more time with my family", he said while asking about his future plan. "My first album will be releasing in this September," he said.
