Reach airport at least three hours before to avoid congestion in summer season - Official

Director General of Directorate General for Civil Aviation (DGCA) Yousef Al-Fawzan urged the passengers to reach airport at least three hours before to avoid congestion inside and outside the airport, adding that the baggage counters will be closed an hour prior to departure. He also urged travelers to ensure that their passports and civil IDs are valid for travel.

DGCA has asked the Public Authority for Youth Affairs to provide a large number of volunteers to help during these preparations and cover all the places at the airport.

Al-Fawzan revealed that the expected number of departure and arrival fl ights from June to September is 40,751, the expected number of passengers is 5,251,772 passengers and the cargo load expected is 77,468 tons.
