Bhavans Celebrated its Success in The CBSE Class 12 Examinations

Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan flaunted its success in the class 12 CBSE board examination by hosting a get-together on June 03, 2017 in the school hall to celebrate the success of its 17 top-notch proud pearls who brought laurels to their families, teachers, and schools in the most striking manner.

The well-decorated hall witnessed an array of overwhelming proud moments when Bhavans family reveled in its success together. The ambience was a mixture of joy, pride, gratitude, and contentment. The teachers, parents, and the proud prodigies were seen celebrating their triumphant achievement. The 17 exam toppers who scored 90% and above in the board examination including the country toppers, the school toppers, and their parents were invited to the get-together. The members of the school management, and all the senior teachers were also invited to the fête de célébration.

The events of the day began on a solemn note with the recital of a verse from the Holy Quran by Mrs. Mussarat Parker, teacher of Commerce. A Sanskrit sloka was then recited by Mr. Sunil Kumar Menon, teacher of Sanskrit language. The ceremonious lighting of the lamp was then performed by Mr. N. K. Ramachandran Menon, the chairman, Bhavans Middle East and the principals of Bhavans institutions in Kuwait viz., Mr. T. Premkumar (IES, Kuwait), Mr. Mahesh Iyer (SIS Kuwait), and Mrs. Rathi Ravindran (J&J, Mangaf) along with Anshika Shrivastav and Sakina Juzer Bankoda, the proud Bhavanites who topped the Science and the Commerce streams in the CBSE-Grade 12 examinations in the country.

The crème of the crème – the toppers among the toppers were felicitated with stems of roses as a mark of heartfelt appreciation for their earnest endeavors that culminated in splendid success. The auditorium resonated with applause and cheer when the stars of the day and their family members were called onstage for the bestowal of honors. The toppers received plaques of appreciation from the school chairman and the principals.

The three proud winners – Ayesha Wasmiya Sageer, Anshika Shrivastav, and Sakina Juzer Bankoda were then invited to address the gathering. It was indeed an emotional spectacle.The ambience of jubilation paved way for reminiscence. Many a teacher’s eyes grew moist when their beloved students attributed their success to their teachers’ painstaking efforts.

The three proud parents of the go-getters then shared their thoughts with the gathering. An overwhelmed Mr. Ramesh Ramaswamy, the father of Anirudha Ramesh was eloquent on the unique student teacher rapport of Bhavans. He thanked the teachers and the principal profusely for instilling confidence in his son.

Mr. Humayun Sulaiman Kabir, the father of Samka Marfua of the Science Stream was very appreciative of the education model in Bhavans. He thanked the school management for being supportive to the core. He also thanked the teachers who guided his daughter from the primary level to the senior secondary level with utmost dedication and commitment. Mrs. Shazna Rizqi, the mother of Hishma Rizqi expressed her gratitude to the school administrators and the teachers for helping her daughter relish success in the board examination.

Mrs. Deepamol (Dept. of Mathematics) and Mrs. Musarrat Parkar (Dept. of Commerce) shared their fond memories of the outgoing grade 12 batches with the audience. The teachers were given a round of reverential applause by the parents and the students present in the auditorium for their commitment and passion for academic excellence.

Mr. Binoy Mathew (Faculty Head, S.St) delivered the welcome address. Mr. Suresh V Balakrishnan, the senior vice principal, Bhavans Kuwait, proposed the vote of thanks. Mrs. Jaemi Byju, (Faculty Head, English) was the emcee for the evening. A delectable dinner hosted by the school in honor of the toppers added grandness to the evening rendezvous coupled with the memorable moments which the Bhavans family had already cached.
