TMCA organized Grand Iftar Banquet - Ramadan 2017

Tamilnadu Muslim Cultural Association (TMCA) hosted a large and traditional Grand Iftar Banquet (Ramadan 2017) which was held on Friday, the 16th June-2017 from 4:30 pm at our new location Qadsiya Indoor Stadium, Hawally, Kuwait.

Shri. Kishan Kumar Pahel, First Secretary & Head of Chancery and Shri. Anup Singh, Attache, represented on behalf of H.E Shri Sunil Jain, Ambassador of India to Kuwait with our Special Guest, Moulvi Sheikh Abdul Basith Buhari, young and energetic Indian Islamic scholar from Jeddah and many more personalities from different communities adorned this program.

This Event was sponsored by M/s. TVS Travel & Cargo Services, M/s. Eastern Solutions and Veldon Real Promoters. Around 1500 brothers attended the Iftar and graced the function.

The program Hall was full well before time and event started at 4:45 p.m with recitation of holy verses from noble Quran by Master. Abdul Basil Hidayathullah, holder of first prize in recent Quran recitation competition. ‘Vittukatti’ Mastan, former Treasurer and well-known Tamil poet, initiated the program and staged Master of Ceremony who himself gave welcome address followed by briefing TMCA’s activities and achievements (in Tamil) with statistics up-to-date.

Our Special Guest, Moulvi Abdul Basith Bukhari delivered amazing address on topic ‘Petror-halin kadamaiym, Pillai-halin penudhalum’ (Responsibilities of parents towards their children and obedience of Children towards their parents) lasted for more than an hour concentrating on recent alarming situation highlighting the importance of preserving and maintaining social unity and solidarity among our Ummah citing historical events and true teachings of Islam and Sunnah.

English part of this program has been well staged by ‘Peruvalanallur’ Br. Hidayathullah, former TMCA Vice-President and our Secretary-General of FIMA. Madurai Bro. S.M. Abdul Kadir, TMCA Executive Co-ordinator, with great pleasure welcomed all Invitees and Guests elaborating in detail, various activities of TMCA (in English) well relevant to TMCA aims and objectives, requesting whole-hearted support to TMCA’s Education programs towards Literacy advancement encouraging all attendees to enroll as members of TMCA and actively involve in social services.

Bro. Syed Ifthikar Ahamed, President, Federation of Indian Muslim Associations (FIMA), our strongest supporter since its inception enjoying strong social relationship since two decades with TMCA gladly felicitated our program as our special Guest.
