ICSK Summer Camp ‘The sunshine 2017’ – Grand Finale

Summer Camp of The Indian community School Kuwait, ‘The Sunshine 2017’ concluded on Thursday, July 13, 2017 with a grand valedictory function which portrayed the essence of one month long camp activities.



Mr. Agnello Fernandez, Hon. Jt. Secretary to the ICSK Board of Trustees was the special Guest of the function. The programme commenced with the rendition of a melodious prayer song followed by the camp prayer ‘Hum ko man ki shakthi dena.. .’



Dr. Mary Isaac Vice Principal of ICSK Amman Branch and the Camp Coordinator welcomed the gathering and gave a review of the whole camp programme. She emphasized that that the camp was completed fruitfully due to the immense support from the ICSK management and parents. Tiny tots in the camp presented the Sunshine theme dance ‘You are my Sunshine’ enjoying it to the full and capturing the hearts of the audience. The theme dance was followed by the presentation of cookery show. The demonstration of Karate was stunning. Children enthralled the audience with a combo presentation of aerobics, yoga and dance. Few students narrated their camp experience wishing that the camp would have lasted more.



The main attractions of the camp were the training sessions in life skills & health awareness, public speaking classes, the magic show, field trips to KDD, Kuwait National &Heritage Museum, I MAX 3D theatre , Aquarium & Kidzania.The training given by experts in Table Tennis, Badminton, Carroms ,Chess, Art & Craft, Yoga and Aerobics added vitality to the camp days.



Special guest Mr. Agnello Fernandes in his speech congratulated the camp organizers for the successful completion of the programme. He also appreciated the children for their magnificent performances. Asst. Coordinator Mrs. Sabiha Altaf proposed the vote of thanks and thanked all the mentors for their valuable efforts in making the camp successful. Participation certificates were distributed to all the campers.



‘The Sunshine 2017’ offered the kids one month long activities of enjoyment and entertainment merged with learning experience.
