Commercial fraud detected in Jleeb warehouse; Made in India label changed to Made in Pakistan

Ministry of Commerce and Industry authorities discovered large scale commercial cheating in a warehouse in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh.

According to local report, authorities raided the warehouse in Jleeb where the labels of some commodities that were made in India were changed to indicate they were made in Pakistan. They also extended the expiry date of some commodities which had expired long ago.

The ministry officials coordinated with security operatives from Ministry of Interior to arrest the workers caught in the act.

The suspects confessed they committed the crime with the aim of increasing the profits. The officers issued citations and referred the suspects for prosecution.
