First day of Eid Al-Adha on September 1st

The astronomy department at the Science Club said the first day of Zul Hijja for 1438 will be Wednesday, Aug 23rd. Arafat Day will be on Thursday, Aug 31, and Eid Al-Adha will be on Friday, Sept 1.

In a press release, the department said the pairing of the birth of Hilal of Dhul Hijjah will happen at exactly 9:30 pm Kuwait time on Monday. It will remain until sunset on Tuesday for 34 minutes, and will be easy to sight.
