No work permits for North Koreans

Residence Affairs Department of the Ministry of Interior issued a decision not to issue work permits for North Koreans, local media reported. The authorities will also not renew the work permits of existing workers from North Korea, which will affect about 1,800 North Koreans living in Kuwait.

Most of those affected by the decision are working with contracting and construction companies.
