Indian Minister M J Akbar to visit Kuwait next week; Community meeting on 20th

India’s Minister of State for External Affairs Mr M J Akbar will be visiting Kuwait on 19th and 20th of this month to attend the 3rd Joint Ministerial meeting between India and Kuwait. Third Ministerial meeting, after a gap of 9 years, will be held on 20th September 2017 at Kuwait.

On 20th evening at 4:30 pm, Minister will be meeting the members of Indian community at the Indian Embassy auditorium. Leaders of various community organization are invited to attend the interaction with minister, Ambassador H E Sunil Jain told IndiansinKuwait.com Public can interact with the minister during the event, he added. Members from the community can also suggest the points /issues/ difficulties concerning the Indian diaspora in Kuwait, which can be included in the Agenda being prepared by the Embassy for the minister, Ambassador told IndiansinKuwait.com

Minister M J Akbar and the accompanying team will be discussing various bilateral issues between Indian and Kuwait with his Kuwaiti counterpart.

Last year Minister of State for External Affairs Gen V K Singh visited Kuwait and discussed various community issues including the long pending labor issues of Indian community with the Kuwaiti authorities. Minister M J Akbar also is expected to discuss various issues with the Kuwaiti side.
