At American Society of Safety Engineers, (ASSE) Kuwait Chapter, we constantly strive to offer a range of hi-end services to enhance Skills & Knowledge of HSE Professionals in the Region. As part of our constant and on-going endeavour to add value to chapter Members knowledge profile with variety of different Training Sessions, it is our privilege to offer the third training Program of the term 2017-18 “Quantitative Risk Assessment (QRA) Awareness Training Program" organized on 2nd September 2017, at Hotel Best Western, Mahboula, Kuwait.

ASSE- Kuwait Chapter lead by Chairman Mr. Fadhel Al Ali, is a non- profit organization which always strives to excel in providing quality trainings and consultation in the field of Health Safety and Environment all across different public and private sectors in Kuwait.

Mr. Suman Rengarasu, Committee member of Training committee, in his opening his briefed about chapter activities and introduced the speaker Mr. Arshad Ayub Shaik.

Mr. Arshad Ayub is currently working as a Safety Engineer in Kuwait Oil Company (KOC). Prior to this, he has worked as Process Safety Engineer in leading consulting companies and has conducted more than 50 QRA studies including software modelling in different sectors of industries including, Oil & Gas, Chemical, Petrochemical, Refineries etc. for reputed organisations such as KOC, KNPC, KGOC, PIC, ONGC India, IOCL, DCW, IAL, AMEC Foster Wheeler, Fluor, Petrofac, Saipem, Mott Macdonald and L&T in different countries - UK, Kuwait, India, Abu Dhabi & Kenya. Recently he has chaired QRA Final presentation in London for one of the major projects of Kuwait.

Mr. Aamir Rasheed Vice President of ASSE Kuwait chapter in his closing Remarks thanked the trainer and congratulated the Training Committee Team for arranging such a historical Training Session. He also shared with members that Success is not a destination it’s a continues journey. He also thanked for all the participants for their interest shown towards HSE Trainings arrange by chapter. At the end of Program High Tea along with snacks was arranged.
