CHRISCCAA conducted New Year and Family Get-Together Program

Christian College Chengannur Alumni Association’s New Year Celebrations & Family Get - Together program was conducted in United Indian School on 26th January 2018. The event commenced with silent prayer followed by National Anthem of Kuwait & India. Program Convener Mr. Alex A. Chacko welcomed the audience followed by the Presidential Address delivered through Adv. John Thomas P.

The Function consisted of two parts; Business Section & Cultural Events. The Business Section witnessed the presentation of Annual Report by General Secretary Mr. Mathews Mammen, Audited Annual Accounts Statement by the Treasurer Mr. George Mathew followed by the election of New Office Bearers. The new office Bearers elected unanimously are President-Mr. George Mathew, Vice- President – Adv. John Thomas P, General Secretary – Mr. Noble M. Mathew, Jt. Secretary- Mrs. Annamma Varghese & Treasurer – Mr. Sunil Thomas Varghese. And 12-member committee was also constituted.

Snehasparsham the charity wing of CHRISCCAA distributed Rs. 1,15,108 for medical treatment as well as those requiring attention of humanitarian consideration in Kerala. 8 persons were benefited from this aid.Mr.Jacob Varghese(Benoy) was unanimously elected as the convener of Sneshasparsham.

During the cultural event children entertained the audience with various programs such as Instrumental music by Geoffrey George Thomas(Keyboard) & Irene Mariam Saju(Violin) and Solo by Joann Mariam Alex. Poem was recited by Mrs. Rachel Thomas. Funny Show was conducted by Mrs. Saramma Johns & Mrs. Rachel Thomas.

YES BAND Artists kept the audience engrossed and entertained with live Orchestra. The program was beautifully comparing by Sunil Thomas Varghese.

Lighting the lamp was done by the Senior member George Kurian, New & Outgoing Office Bearers. Raffle Draw for selecting the best CHRISCCAA family was conducted by President(Elect), Mr. George Mathew & Mrs. Idicula Saju won the draw. The prize for the winner was sponsored by SUPER SHOPPEY(www.supershoppey.com.) Jt. Convener, Mrs. Mini Shaji delivered the Vote of Thanks.
