Small traffic accidents to be settled at police stations instantly

The Ministry of Interior announced on Tuesday activating articles 2 and 5 in the traffic law 41, whereby approving settlements at police stations for accidents of limited damage.

The ministry said in a statement that these abovementioned legal provisions have been reactivated since 2017.


A motorist that causes the small accident will pay KD 20 at the police station and acknowledge his (her) responsibility, thus relieving personnel and civilians involved a lot of time and effort.
