Arpan Elects New Office Bearers for The Year 2018

Arpan is a well-known socio-cultural organization, registered with Indian Embassy, Kuwait. Arpan was founded in 1999 and over the years it has spread its wings deep into the expatriate Indian Community of Kuwait and now is well rooted. ARPAN Kuwait is a unique association in Kuwait which stands for the true Indian values and principles, beyond any religious, caste, region and political considerations thereby upholding the secular principles of India.

ARPAN conducted its 19th Annual General Body meeting on 26th January 2018. The AGM was presided over by President Suresh K.P. General Secretary Rafi Padiyath presented Arpan’s report for the year 2017. Treasurer S.P. Ganesh presented the accounts for the year 2017. The members present approved the report and the accounts. Following that as a part of democratic election in line with bye law, new office bearers for the year 2018 was elected unanimously as under.

President- Suresh K.P, Vice President- Mahadevan K, General Secretary -Venkatakrishnan N.S, Treasurer -George Abraham, Public Relations officer -K Nagarajan, Cultural Convener -Kala Mohan, Joint Secretary -Sajeevan C, Joint Treasurer -Prasanth K.P.R. Ramamoorthi, Rafi Padiyath, Anil Attuva, S.P. Ganesh, Suresh Sadan, Sreenath M. R. and Charu dathan were selected as executive members.

Mrs. Latha Mahadeven was selected as ladies wing Convener and Mrs. Rathi Ramamoorthi as Joint Convener. Advisory board under the chairmanship of Shri Krishnan K. Pillai was formed; Shri Mohan Iyer and Sam C Vilanilam were selected as part of Advisory Board. The new team committed their vision for 2018, which comprised of Cultural and Knowledge development, providing opportunity for all, strengthening of social bond etc. among many.
