Ministries to prepare list of expats for replacement with Kuwaitis

The Cabinet has issued urgent directives to all ministries, asking them to prepare detailed reports concerning the number of positions occupied by expatriates. The report also asked each ministreis to identify who among them can be replaced by Kuwaiti employees, local media reported.

According to report, the directives also include number of procedures for private sector to attract Kuwaiti employees for the Kuwaitization of jobs in administrative, human resources, public relations and reception sector.

The procedures will be enforced within the next five years, report added. Each ministry will have a specific schedule to complete the procedures based on their nature.
