Writers’ Forum, Kuwait meets Ambassador of India

The Executive Committee of WFK called on H.E. Ambassador of India, Mr. K. Jeeva Sagar on 2nd April’18 for the purpose of formal introduction of the forum. The meeting was attended by Mrs. Maimuna Chougle (President), Sunil Sonsi (Joint Secretary) and Mrs. Nazneen Ali (Treasurer).

Mrs. Chougle presented copy of ‘Navratna’ to the Ambassador. Subsequently, Sunil Sonsi apprised him of our activities including our monthly meetings and Kavi Sammelans/Mushairas.

He was very much impressed with their small step towards the national integration by bringing all the Indian languages at one platform under one umbrella. He also assured his full support to all the future endeavors including next edition of ‘Navratna’
