WOW celebrated Woman 2018

These very words summarize WOW Entrepreneurs as we wrap us yet another successful event “WOW Woman 2018”
The day began with a warm welcome to all by our emcee. As the stall owners displaying their goods and the audience gathered to watch, the participants turned up unsure of what to expect because this wasn’t an ordinary beauty pageant.
WOW Woman 2018 is the celebration of a woman as a homemaker – working or stay at home. Our esteemed judges Mrs. Sangita Desai and Mrs. Neetu Singh had taken their positions too. Thus began the qualifying round where the contestants were to complete 3 home tasks i.e. folding clothes, sorting coins and arranging flowers – some of the very simple jobs a woman does in her everyday life. It was a tough job to complete these within the given time of 2 minutes only. It was a nail biting finish for the judges chose the finalists.
Next up was a fabulous dance performance by The Dancing Divas. They truly rocked the performance as a tribute to the versatile Late Sridevi Kapoor. It was a treat to the eyes and was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone present.
Meanwhile our participants lined up for a ramp walk while we had some foot tapping music playing. There were 3 titles up for grabs – Best Smile, Best Outfit & Best Personality which were won by Mrs. Nidhi, Mrs Sadhana and Mrs. Arpita respectively.
The audience was having a great time watching the contest unfold while shopping for exclusive clothes, jewellery, makeup and eating delicious treats all courtesy our women entrepreneurs.
The finalists were called to stage one by one to answer to the questions posed by our respected judges Mrs. Shalini Shrivastav and Mrs. Bharathi Reddy. It was amazing to watch the contestants answer while they won the hearts of judges and audiences alike. Yet again it was a tough choice for the judges to make. The moment of truth arrived as they crowned Mrs. Kavita – WOW Woman 2018. Mrs. Sadhana & Mrs. Arpita won the 1st and 2nd runner up respectively.
The judges were given mementoes as a token of gratitude and appreciation.
All in all it was a day to celebrate Womanhood. From the Organizers to the Judges, from the Stall owners to the Participants and Volunteers, it was an event put together by the woman, for the woman of the woman.
