ICSK branch celebrated the 59th Foundation Day

“Education is the passport to the future for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today’’

The Indian Community School Kuwait, Junior branch celebrated in a great splendour, the 59th Foundation Day.

The Indian Community School was founded on 5th May 1959 with only 22 students. The ICSK was the first Indian school in Kuwait. To commemorate this significant event and to reflect its growth and achievements in the field of education, an assembly was organized in the month of May 2018.

An informative speech was delivered to commemorate the 59th Foundation Day. Melodious group songs were rendered by the students to wish ICSK on its Foundation Day. Various skits depicting, ICSK as an institution of excellence where children can achieve holistic development. A poem reflecting their love and respect towards the school was recited followed by a dazzling and colourful power packed dance.

Mrs Sherly Dennis, Principal ICSK Junior in her address elicited loyalty to the esteemed institution and praised its glorious past. The students inspired by her address unanimously showed their love for the institution by the slogan , ‘I love you ICSK ‘

Vice Principal, Mrs. C. Sheeja in her address wished all the students, teachers and staff a very happy 59th Foundation Day.
