Tamilnadu Engineers Forum (TEF) organized Kodai Vizha 2018

Tamilnadu Engineers Forum (TEF) Kuwait, the One & Only ISO certified, non-profitable, voluntary service organization in the region had organized Kodai Vizha finale on 11th May 2018 @ Fintas Community Hall.

Kodai Vizha is conducted every year by TEF to bring out the inherent talents of its members & their family. This year, TEF-2018 conducted 32 events for their members & family under various categories. The off stage events were conducted on Fridays and culminated with on-stage events during the grand finale.

In the morning, On-stage events started with fancy dress competitions and kids paraded in different attires indicating our culture and leaders. Next event was the dance competitions, which demonstrated the talents of kids with highest level of competitions between various teams. Also, off-stage events like memory verses from “Thirukkural”, Essay writing and Poetry writing was conducted.

After the dance competition, the most important event of the day “Nool Arimuga VIzha” (Book Introduction) and “ Nool Velieetu Vizha” (Book release) was conducted in a fabulous manner in the presence of huge audience in the hall.

The chief guests came from Tamilnadu are Tamil Scholars, who had contributed a lot to the divine language Tamil by rejuvenating the old Tamil classics, otherwise they might have been lost in the course of time.

The chief guests are: 1. Mudu Munaivar-Tamil Kadal, Thiru Ilangkumaranar, 2. Pathiparasar Ko. Ilavalaganar and 3. Perasiriyar Tamilagan

TEF General Secretary Engr. P. Sethu Madhavan delivered the “Nool Arimuga Vizha” address and stressed importance of contributing to the growth of our divine language.

“Senthamil Sol Porul Kalanjium” book written by Thiru Ilangkumaranar, was introduced to the TEFians and the contribution of TEF in bringing out the book was well appreciated. The first volume was received by Mr. Valavan, President TEF 2018 from Thiru Ilangkumaranar. The specialty of the book is: Collection of different Tamil words used across Tamilnadu, which has the same meaning.

Thiru Ilangkumaranar delivered the special address of the day and encouraged the Tamil people to use Tamil words during conversations and encourage their kids to learn, read & write the mother tongue.

Next, the book (Solla Thevai Illatha Unmaigal” written by Mr. Chakravarthi (Ex Gen Sec - TEF) was released by Thiru Ilangkumaranar and received by Mr. Chidambaranathan. Mr. Pon Elango, Cultural Head - TEF 2018 delivered the introductory speech on the book and Mr. Chakravarthi shared his experience on the book and advised the TEFians to have the habit of writing, which is a source of past memories. Mr. Ramesh Kumar, Treasurer TEF 2018 delivered vote of thanks.

In the Post lunch session, Quiz, Adds-up and Dumb shreds were conducted and the grand finale of TEF 2018 Kodai Vizha came to an end with prize distribution for the winners of all the events.
