ICSK Principal Dr. V. Binumon Appointed as CBSE Post-Result Counsellor

It is indeed a proud moment for The Indian Community School, Kuwait as the Principal of the school, Dr. V.Binumon, has been once again appointed as Post – Result CBSE Counsellor. Dr. V Binumon had been appointed earlier this year as a counsellor for Kuwait region, as part of the CBSE annual pre-examination counselling. He will be providing the post-result CBSE annual counselling as well from 26th May 2018. The voluntary, free of cost counselling, being provided by CBSE for the 21st consecutive year, would continue till June 09 daily from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.

CBSE provides post-result counselling to students and parents to overcome common psychological problems and address general queries related to Class X and XII results. This counselling session is arranged by the CBSE with the purpose of also aiding and assisting board examinees in selecting suitable careers. These services are extended to their parents as well to clear their doubts and queries regarding the same. Dr.V.Binumon, a renowned educationist and counsellor par excellence, has been a part of CBSE pre and post exam counselling for the last three years. Dr. V. Binumon is a multi-faceted personality with long expertise and experience as an Educational Counsellor and is sensitive to the needs of students. He has also undergone certificate courses in diverse areas such as Neuro Linguistic Programming and Hypnotherapy.

The CBSE counselling is an outreach programme which is carefully designed keeping the heterogeneity of student’s population and geographical spread .CBSE Tele counselling is largely offered by trained counsellors and Principals from within CBSE affiliated schools located in India and outside India. During the 2nd Phase, 69 expert volunteers including Principals, trained counsellors, and special educators from CBSE affiliated government and private schools and psychologists will be available for Tele-Counselling.

Out of these, 49 are from India including 02 special educators, while 20 experts are located in Nepal, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (Al-Khobar, Jeddah), Sultanate of Oman, UAE (Dubai, Sharjah, Ras Al-Khaimah), Kuwait, Singapore and Qatar.
