First day of Eid Al-Fitr will on Friday, June 15, says Science Club

The space and astronomy department at the Science Club announced that the first day of Eid Al-Fitr will fall on Friday, June 15.

According to astronomical calculations, the new moon crescent is expected to be visible on Thursday the 29th of Ramadan at 7:27 pm, while sunset will be at around 6:47 pm, the director of KSC’s Department of Astronomy Ali Bu Abbas said.
