Beware of fake mails in the name of IndiansinKuwait.com

A new mailspam campaign is underway that pretends to be a mail send from IndiansinKuwait.com. The mail targets IIK users and pretend it as send from IIK to collect the login information of users IIK account. Many people informed IIK that they get such emails and many prey victim to the scam.

The mail content says that "Dear Indiansinkuwait.com (IIK) user we discover some imposer scammer using some iik account to post fraudulent activities. We are using this medium to maintenance our website in regarding this all registered iik user's account are require to reset and upgrade there account through the link below and enter the information required and click on summit to enable us reset/ upgrade his/her IIK account.required to stop and fight against fraudulent act in this site is our job for the saving of your account..To prevent this,click or copy on the link below to reset your account.Please note that no information will be lost as all messages and details will still remain in your (IIK) account and mailbox." The mail also warns the user that "Failure to do so will result in a limited access and blocking your (IIK)." However the link given on the mailer is https://indiansinkuwaitsupportadmin.weebly.com/ which itself shows that the fraudsters created a dummy IIK Look a like page on the free web server weebly.com

IIK advice all its readers not to prey victim to such fraudsters and do not respond t such fake emails. IIK Also would like to inform our readers that IIK will never send email asking for our members to confirm their password. We also urged the users to make sure all links they respond to is originally from IIK by confirming the domain name is indiansinkuwait.com
