Armed bank robbery at Gulf Bank Hawally branch

A armed thief allegedly robbed the Gulf bank branch in Hawally Thursday morning using a fake gun and escaped with KD 4500 in cash. No one injured in the robbery attempt.

“The attempted burglary did not cause any harm to employees or customers and necessary measures were taken immediately,” said the bank on its official twitter account.

The Ministry of Interior ordered an inquiry into the incident.
