KOC Blues won their 2nd successful playoff of the IRHC 2018. In a very well paced match, Sohail of Kuwait Independence Hockey Team scored the opening goal in the 1st quarter of the Field Hockey Championship under KEHA, however a goal each from the 2nd and 3rd quarters by Hossam Jabran and Hasnain Ali who remains the top scorer of this championship at this stage, took them up the standings chart.

in the other encounter of the day the Host Team, International Red Hockey faced Team Dominic Savio, Sherwin Dsouza got a lucky goal off a fluke shot the very 4th minute, this was followed by a goalless 2nd Quarter as IRH put up a good fight even in the absence of their key Mid Half players and Leslies' power shot attempt bounced off the goalpost denying him of an equalizer. some good attacks and counter attacks continued until Eustace Jacinto confirmed their lead with the 2nd Goal in the 36th minute. Leslie Subba, the Forward of IRH commented 'that Good Coordination by the DS players, and a brave fight and brilliant saves by Obul the IRH Keeper resulted in this 2-0 goal score.

With 3 weeks done into the championship and a long way to go, the schedules for the upcoming weekend on Friday 28th September 2018 are: International Red Hockey v/s Kuwait Hockey Kings at 6.00pm. KOC Blue V/S KOC Green at 7pm
