100 expatriate workers set for deportation

The Joint Committee for the Reorganization of Expatriate Workers recently organized a surprise inspection campaign in the Sulaibiya cargo area of the General Administration for Customs which resulted in the arrest of about 100 expatriate workers - violators of the residence law.

According to local report, most of the arrested persons hold residence permit under Article 20. The committee is preparing to take legal procedures to hand them over to the concerned authorities to prepare their deportation from the country.
