The Indian Community School Kuwait has become the first and the only school in Kuwait to be awarded the Silver Learning Partner status by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), UK.

ACCA is a professional accountancy qualification recognized around the world, with 208,000 fully qualified members and 503,000 students worldwide. They are among the worlds best-qualified and the most highly sought-after accountants working across different sectors.

Knowing the change of global trends in the field of education and growing opportunities, in April 2018, ICSK Khaitan started its commerce batch integrated with ACCA. The exceptionality of this integrated course is that it enhances the students to obtain globally recognized ACCA qualification along with their preparation for All India Senior Secondary Examination by Central Board of Secondary Education, India. This dual programme blends academic excellence with professional skills, offering more than just a qualification and raising the profile of students with the prospective employers.

In a special function at ICSK Khaitan, Mr. Taher Kapasi, Education Manager, ACCA-Middle East explained the benefits of becoming ACCA Silver Learning Partner. The prestigious Silver Learning Partner status implies that ICSK provides high-quality ACCA classes and supports learners throughout their studies. In order to receive this status the school had to prove that they met the association’s criteria for approval in providing ACCA course and support.

Receiving accreditation from an international body as reputed as ACCA, UK is a testimony to the high standard of teaching-learning environment at ICSK.

While addressing the gathering, Principal Mr. K G Shirsath announced the opening of registration to the second batch of XI commerce (2019-20) integrated with ACCA at ICSK Khaitan.
