MoI affirms readiness to deal with emergency situations

Ministry of Interior affirm its full readiness to face any emergency situation resulted from volatile weather.

MoI Assistant Undersecretary made this remarks after holding a coordination meeting with the ministry's field security leaderships to discuss preparations and coordination measures between MoI's sectors to face the heavy rains, which are expected to fall within the next hours, the ministry said in a press statement.

There are officers in charge of communication and coordination, and ready to receive and follow incoming reports and calls, he said, adding there are also emergency teams, from all state bodies, that will be working around the clock.

Today's meeting is part of security bodies' preparations to alleviate the impact of recent unstable weather in the country. It was held under the directions of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Khaled Al-Jarrah Al-Sabah and supervision of MoI's Undersecretary Lieutenant General Essam Al-Naham, noted the statement.
