109,721 Residency law violators in the country

The latest statistics issued by the Directorate General of Residence Affairs revealed the total of number of residency law violators in the country as of January 2019 is 109,721. This include 61,506 male and 48,215 female.

According to media report, the number of violators registered under Article 20 (domestic workers) is 48,965 comprising of 14216 male and the remaining are females.

The number of violators registered under Article 18 is 29,424 including 27,806 male and 1618 female.

It pointed out that 22,401 violators are registered under Article 14 (temporary residence) and they constitute 15,536 male and 6865 female, while those registered under Article 22 have reached 7,387 represented by 2,711 males and 4,676 females.

It added the number of violators of Article 17 (government employees) is 1091 including 915 male and 176 female.
