Wednesday, January 16, 2019

Indian Educational School, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, the school with a difference, now taking care of about 3000 students on board, has been galloping along the sands of Kuwait for more than twelve years, with the sobriety of quality education, resolutely holding the reins of child centered philosophy. The well-being of the students, and the discipline they should demonstrate at each stage is the priority here, and patently it is this aspect of Bhavans right from the Kindergarten to the Senior Secondary Wing that has enabled it to write successful sequels year after year.

The Senior Secondary Wing of Bhavans has made a mark for the difference it makes in the lives of Bhavanites who graduate from here. These Bhavanites, the Alumni, have further returned as Chief Guests for the school functions leaving themselves and others in awe of the immaculate promises of this temple of learning, bestowing pride in the Bhavans fraternity. All decisions of the Bhavans Management have always been in favour of the student community catering to the demands of the Indians in Kuwait. Offering quality education and extending its services with its unique touch further to the Indian diaspora in Kuwait, Bhavans has now decided to offer the Humanities Stream in addition to their existing Science and Commerce Streams.

Liberal arts is gaining momentum among the 21st century learners as liberal arts education helps one develop a strong sense of social responsibility as well as strong and transferable intellectual and practical skills, such as communication, analytical, problem-solving etc., and a demonstrated ability to apply knowledge and skills in real-world settings. Humanities Stream also opens promising opportunities in the world of Civil Service, Public Administration and Education.

Bhavans is all set with highly qualified and enterprising faculty and extended rack of abundant reference materials in the library to warmly welcome the students who yearn to pursue Humanities and get trained and nurtured in Bhavans, Kuwait. Mr. N.K Ramachandran Menon, Chairman Bhavans Middle East said that the philosophy behind offering an additional stream is to provide fair chances to the students who respect their aptitude and talents. Principal of IES, Mr. T. Premkumar announced that the admission is now open to all the Indian students who wish to pursue the Humanities Stream at Indian Educational Kuwait. Parents interested in seeking admission are requested to visit the school on any Saturday between 9 am and 1 pm.
