Indian Muslim Association – IMA organizes Medical Camp

Indian Muslim Association (IMA) in association with BADR AL SAMAA Medical Centre and under the patronage of Ministry of Awqaf successfully organized a Free Medical Camp on 22nd February, 2019 at Badr Al-Samaa Medical Centre, Farwaniya, Block-4, Street 39, between 7.00 am to 1.00 pm.

Registrations for the camp were started online a few weeks prior to the event and more than 350 individuals from all over Kuwait registered for the camp. However a lot of unregistered people also came on the day & they were also accommodated. The camp timings were extended due to this overwhelming response.



The Facilities offered at the camp were free tests for Blood pressure, Blood Sugar, Cholesterol, SGPT (Liver Screening), Creatinine (Kidney Screening). People were requested to come fasting before the tests. IMA Volunteers along with Medical Centre’s Staff assisted the incoming individuals for filling the appropriate forms with required details.



After the testing was completed and depending upon the Test results, the people were directed to the Consulting Specialists. Free Consultation were offered in Departments of General Medicine, Inte

More than 350 registered individuals and also unregistered persons, attended the camp. Timings for the camp were extended due to the overwhelming response. IMA Volunteers along with Medical Centre’s Staff assisted in the registration process as well as in arranging and conducting the tests .



The medical checkup included tests for Blood pressure, Blood Sugar, Cholesterol, SGPT (Liver Screening), Creatinine (Kidney Screening). On receiving the test reports Examinees were directed to the Consultants and Specialists of respective departments of General Medicine, Internal medicine, Dental, Gynecology, Orthopedic, ENT, Urology, Pediatrics, Ophthalmology & Pulmonology.

On this occasion, IMA President Masood Shehab, General Secretary Arshad Habeeb and Mirza Tanveer Baig, IMA Coordinater for Social Services and Chief Organiser of Medical Camp welcomed the Arab Guests Mr. Mohammed Ali, Mr. Mohammed Jamal (from Ministry of Awqaf) and Mr. Abdul Lateef Al-Munaifi, Mr. Abdullah Al-Hudaib (from Jamiah Al Islah). They visited all departments . Mr. Mohammed Jamal and Mr. Abdul Lateef Al-Munaifi even had their blood test done.
The guests appreciated and encouraged the activities of IMA.



IMA General Secretary Arshad Habeeb presented a memento to the Management of the Medical Centre and thanked the Guests, the Patients and the Volunteers for their invaluable co-operation and for making the camp a success.
