Changes in rules for issuing driving license for housewives

According to latest amendments for issuing driving license to expatriate house wives, sources informed that no driving licenses will be given to them except in the following cases.

Driving licenses will be issued to housewives only if they are on dependent visa and have children whose husbands salary is KD 600 and above with designations as advisors, experts, general managers, doctors, pharmacist and member of universities and institutions.

As per latest ministerial decision engineers are not exempted profession hence wives of engineer cant get driving license.
