7th IBA basketball tournament kicked off

The 7th IBA basketball tournament kicked off succinctly in the rejuvenated and power packed indoor court of United International Indian School on the 10th of April in the presence of a hilarious and vibrant crowd with the first level of league matches for the school category students from different Indian schools in Kuwait.

The first day Chief Guest was Mr. Pradeep, CEO - PRECON ENGINEERING Co . The students displayed an aggressive and vibrant game enthralling the spectators.

The second day tournament was blessed with the presence of eminent social worker and a senior citizen Mr Saseendran Kartha who encouraged the students for a fair game with all might.

IBA journey continued with full momentum on the 3rd day with a powerful exhibition of nailbiting matches of the school students with the official team introduction by Mr. Shiju Soman National University player an ardent sports lover whose presence indeed boosted up the students to showcase some exciting defense ,drive ins ,shoot outs and baskets.

The league level matches for the school students marched onto the fourth day 13th April Saturday with some classy basketball under the school category.

The most awaited and attractive game of the open category Men and Women is scheduled to start from the 22nd of April Monday with a display of some exclusive ,classy basketball, tough competitions, nail biting matches a sure visual treat for the spectators and cheerleaders. The official opening ceremony is scheduled to be on the 22nd April in the presence of our beloved Adv. John Thomas, Manager United Indian school.

The mega final will be on the 26th of April at 6.30pm. The school division Prize distribution will be on the same day at 6pm, Mrs Tessy Joel Chairman UIS will be the chief guest for the same. IBA fraternity is gearing up for an exclusive game of basketball with their ever supporting medical partner Metro Medical Care with their care and concern, our partner Precon engineering and we request all sports lovers and well wishers to join us in this basketball extravaganza and savor some exclusive shoots and drive ins to embalm your heated up spirits.
