First death reported in Kuwait due to heatstroke as temperature soars

First death case due to heatstroke reported in Kuwait as an Egyptian national found dead in an pen area in Surra Area Tuesday morning.

Ministry of Interior received information about a man fallen on the ground near Surra walkway, the preliminary forensic report showed that man's death was caused by heatstroke. According to Al Watan Arabic newspaper report, he was walking on the walkway after finishing his work.

In the past two days, Kuwait was experiencing extreme heat, bringing the maximum temperatures to over 52 Degrees Celsius in shade.
