Idukki Association Kuwait organized a grand picnic

The Idukki Association Kuwait organized a grand picnic, “Winter Vibes in Abdali." With Joyalukkas as the title sponsor. The activity involved around 200 family members of the Idukki Association Kuwait. The official opening ceremony was inaugurated at the public meeting on February 22 at 9 p.m. by Mr. Nixon George, a media partner of Asianet Kuwait, managing director of Connection Media, member of several social and cultural organizations in Kuwait, and senior member of the Idukki Association Kuwait. Hon'ble IAK President Mr. Jobins Joseph, General Secretary Mr. Martin Chacko, Treasurer Mr. Johnly Thundiyil, Women's Forum Chairperson Mrs. Vinitha Ousepachan, Picnic Convener Mr. Ousepachan Thotumkal, Vice President Mr. Abin Thomas, Joint Treasurer and Picnic Joint Coordinator Mr. Bijo Joseph, Idukki Association Kuwait Executive Members, senior members, women's forum executive members, family members of the Idukki association, friends, etc where present. In the general meeting that followed, the senior members of the association, Mr. Tom Edayody Mr. Jiji Mathew, Mr. Baiju Paul, Mr. Biju P. Anto, Mr. Preeth Jose, Mr. Bino Joseph, Mr. Sajeev Narayanan, and other senior members, extended their greetings.

Singing lovely tunes, the Oru Thooval Pakshikal FM band, led by Mr. Anish Ragasudha, enthralled the crowd. Artists from the Idukki Association Kuwait blessed the picnic with performances that brought color and energy.

Sports conveners Mr. Baby John and Mr. Bijomon Thomas led the sports competitions held on February 23. The IAK 2024 sports meet was inaugurated by Mrs. Joyce Gigi senior member and Mrs. Vineetha Ousepachan, Chairperson of the Idukki Association Kuwait. Around 25 events and competitions were held for children and adults.
Organized for the first time in the history of the association, the marathon turned out to be a unique experience due to the participation and organizational excellence. Senior members of the Idukki Association conducted prize-giving ceremonies for the winners in the sports competitions under the leadership of Mr. Jiji Mathew. Idukki Association Kuwaiti family members distributed sumptuous food prepared by Sunrises and Biryani Tower restaurants. Live food counters were added to the program. Food conveners Mr. Shiju Babu and Mr. Sithoj led the food coordination. Idukki Association Kuwait's Treasurer, Mr. Johnly Thundiyil, expressed his gratitude to everyone who participated in the picnic.
