Indian Dentists' Alliance in Kuwait (IDAK) celebrated the World Oral Health Day with an innovative program of educating young children about the importance of keeping a clean and healthy oral cavity, teeth and associated structures. The 'World Oral Health Day' is celebrated around the world on March 20th to spread awareness about oral health.

On March 20th IDAK News and Media Committee in collaboration with Community Welfare Committee raised awareness among children through fun filled sessions in two spring camps in Kuwait, namely Spark Dance Academy and Buds & Blooms Pre-school, Salmiya.

Dr. Ranjitha R S, Dr. Prashanthy R Prasad, Dr. Remya Mathew and Dr. Aastha Mehta educated the campers about the right way of brushing and flossing and the importance of cultivating good oral habits through the use of visual aids and also engaged the young audience with an interactive Quiz.

The children were presented with the IDAK Dental Patient Handbook which is a joint initiative of IDAK and Mango Hyper. The children were also given samples of tooth brushes and tooth pastes.

By the end of the session, the dental professionals were able to not only capture the attention of the campers, but were able to create the much-needed awareness about oral hygiene in a fun-filled manner.

IDAK extends its sincerest gratitude to Mango Hyper for supporting their Community Welfare activities.
