Former Kuwait based Indian Dr. Mirza Umair Beg passed away in Lucknow

Former Kuwait based Indian and retired Senior Scientist at the Department of Environmental Sciences, Kuwait Institute of Scientific Research (KISR) Dr. Mirza Umair Beg passed away in India.

He was in Kuwait for a very long year and left to India for good few years back. He passed away in Lucknow, India on April 15th.

Dr. M. U. Beg was a luminary in both science and literature. His love for Urdu literature continues to echo through his books and stories, which are accessible on his Facebook page, ‘Kahani Reading Club’ and ‘Shajar.’

Dr Beg had published several articles on IndiansinKuwait.com while he was working in Kuwait.

He left behind his his wife Naheed, son Mansoor, daughters Uzma and Hina, and grandchildren.
