As per my knowledge, your salary must be above 450 kd to be able to bring your spouse to Kuwait. I usually would advice against small placement agencies, but since you're in a fix, try it. Some agencies charge a nominal fee upfront, some take a month's salary after you get the job. At the same time, try shooting your CV in every other direction, you never know which company has a vacancy at the moment, or may have one a few months down the line. Are you a graduate? Being a graduate could make things work in your favour. If not, it may be a bit harder, but not impossible. All the best!

All are scams. Beware, they will just take your money by promising great things and then ignore you.

@ayyLMAO- That's true. Harry, be careful, and register at your own risk. Genuine agencies will NEVER ask for a large amount prior to getting the job. If they do, consider it a red flag and just move out from there. Smaller companies charge 5-10KD for registration, but again, beware, not worth losing that small amount for nothing.

Harry,
If your salary is low it's not worth living here. Once has to face harsh weather condition, prone to health issues, disrespectful locals only to earn some money. If you are unable to earn a decent revenue better to go to some other country.

Harry, if you are staying with relatives (or family) and saving on rent, it makes sense. If your total experience is under 3 years, then that salary is fine. However, being a graduate with considerable exp (>3 years), 300 is a bit too less. Not worth living in this heat and treated like scum by the locals for that much. But you did mention family reason, you can't quit kuwait.
If your wife's in a lucrative field, like nursing, then it will be easy to get a job and survive in kuwait. If not, then it will be very hard to stay here. The next option is to get your wfe here on a work visa, which is super expensive (1200+ KD) and pretty risky too.
1200KD is a lot of money. What field is your wife into?

@123 : My wife is working in axis bank as customer relation executive.
I know 1200 is huge sum, but I think its a need of an hour for me. Paying for a visa is atleast fine as a job guarantee will be there. That's the reason I was searching a placement agency
