This is a complex issue and you need to get a lawyer or someone who specializes in these matters. No point asking here as this is a very unusual circumstance.
As per my understanding, there should not be any problem for your daughter but it depends on who has custody of your daughter. If she will be dependent under your visa, it is not an issue. But if she will be dependent on your ex-wife she will need some legal documents for being guardian, NOC from ex-husband etc, but it is possible.

Father is the sponsor for the child.
you will have no issue in renewing residency of child, if you have copy of mothers valid civil id attached to the renewing document.

Your question gives rise to 2 more questions as below;
1. Are you enquiring about the residence status of your daughter in Kuwait after divorce decree has been issued?
2. Are you worried about your daughter thinking the long term consequences after divorce decree has been issued? Yani what will be effect on her life??

Custody of the child is important. If your wife has legal custody of the child, your daughter cannot be under your sponsorship, especially if your wife (then ex-wife) objects. And your wife can have the daughter transferred to her residence, if she meets salary conditions. A divorced woman is allowed to sponsor her children.

@Scorpio- A Divorced woman (not remarried) can sponsor her children if she has legal custody, subject to meeting salary conditions.
A divorced man (not remarried) may face problem in sponsoring a girl child over a certain age. No problem for boys.

Whats mentioned above is applicable if the man is not in Kuwait and woman fits criteria. However as you mentioned, both of you are in Kuwait. In that case if u go the normal way, only man can apply for visa. But, wasta works everywhere. So go try.

Why did you take a decision to divorce?? Why don't you solve the issue between you. Think about the poor girl who born in your family. you still have time. Think about it. God doesn't want you to be separated. There will be issues in all family and divorce is not the solution. You must consider the mental status of your ( your own) daughter. Talk to your wife or call some councilor and adjust the issue. Divorce is not a solution. How long are you married.?? Why the issue now after your wife delivered a beautiful girl. Oh My God!!! help them...
