I am working as sales executive in a company. My basic salary is 250 kd with 20% commission. I got a business of 800 kd on the second month of joining so when I asked for commission my manager told that 2 months salary is deducted from 800 kd =800-500 = 300 so commission is calculated on 300 kd of 20% = 60 kd. Is this correct or should I get 20%of 800 kd = 160 kd as commission. Any one in sales please share ur views.

Your manager is just cheating you, Sales commissions are normally calculated based on your total sales. You should get 160 KD. Unless it is disclosed to you that the commission calculation is in this particular way.

The calculation of incentives is the same in all co.The incentives will be calcaulated based on the total sales achieved irespective of salary and salary should not be deducted from the buisness achieved.your manager is cheating you.
