Winners rejoice at IIK Diwali Mela 2018

Loads of surprise prizes and gift hampers made the winners to rejoice their efforts at IIK Diwali Mela 2018. Winners of various competitions like Rangoli competition, Diwali Mithai Contest , Diwali Namkeen Contest, Dandya Dance Competition and Inter School Lantern Competitions received their prizes at the IIK Diwali Mela on Friday, 2nd November 2018.

Mr Anwar Ayyub got the first prize where as Mr Mahendrsing Mahale and Mr Pulkit Singhai got the second and third prize respectively in the delicious and creative Diwali Mithais competition for Men at the ‘Tipu Sulthan Restaurant Mithai Competition’. Ms Reshma Modi got the first prize where as Ms Rahila Mhalunkar & Ms Snehal Dhananjay Sevalkar got the second and third prize respectively in the delicious and creative Diwali Namkeens competition for Women at the ‘Tipu Sulthan Restaurant Namkeen Competition’. Mr Jose Joseph, Hotel Manager of Oasis Hotel handed over the prizes to the winners.

Colorful and attractive Diwali Lanterns made by the students of various Indian schools were exhibited at the Mela. IIK had held an Inter School Lantern Competition and the winners were felicitated at the Mela. Inter School Lantern Competition was sponored by Al Rashed International Shipping Co. Kaashvi Subin, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan got the First Prize, Helen Mariam Biju of Indian Educational School got second prize and Aayaat Amaan Pal of Indian Educational School got third prize. Winners received trophies,Certificates & prizes sponsored by Al Rashed International Shipping Co. The lanterns were so creative and colorful that the judges chose 5 consolation prizes. The winners of the consolation prizes were Sakina of Indian Educational School, Tamana of Integrated Indian School, Israa Mohammed Ismail of Al Amal Indian School, Lakshmi Nanda Madhusoodhanan & Haridathan Madhusoodhanan of Indian Educational School and Suhaan, Vivaan & Rahul of Indian Community School (Junior).

Mr Dileep Kumar & Team bagged the First prize in the colorful Rangoli Competition sponsored by Al Muzaini Exchange Company. Theme of Rangoli Competition was Green India. Ms Surbhi Jain & Team got the second prize and Ms Pranati Pattnaik & Team got the third prize. Winners received trophies from IIK and gift vouchers from Mr. Hussein Saad, Marketing and Corporate Sales Manager of Al Muzaini Exchange Company.

Siddharth Mod & Hardevsinh Rana won the Best Dancing Couple at Dandya Dance Competition sponsored by Jazeera Airways. Hetal Nimesh Panchal got the Best Costume award , Siddharth Mob was selected as Best Dancing Boy and Fida Firos was selected as Best Dancing Girl. Winners received Trophies, Certificates and gifts from Mr. Ishan Badurdeen, Regional Sales Manager, Jazeera Airways

Platinum sponsor for the event was Jazeera Airways. American Tourister and Al Muzaini Exchange were the Gold Sponsors. High Sierra, Kuwait Motoring Company and Al-Rashed International Shipping CO were Associate Sponsors. Event was organized by Lemonade International and Supported by IWIK.

More than 5000 crowd gathered at the IIK Diwali Mela, which marked one of its kind celebration among the Indian community in Kuwait.

Everything was good.our first time here in this mela with my family and kids.They all enjoyed.
Above alll. A big thanks to KDD for supplying all FREE besan Laddu and Gajar ka halwa.All yummy ...
This is worth mentioning and I see no words from anyone.
I haven''t tasted this good besan ladoo and gajar ka halwa. Can some one pass on me like who is the chef made this?and mobile number too.
